Hermes Show Open

The Dayton American Advertising Federation (AAF) hosted the Hermes/ADDY® Awards, which is the first of a three-tier, national competition. We were faced with the challenge to create a show opener that would tie futuristic, impending and ominous technology with the more refined human essence of creativity. Backspace played off of the idea that technology can hinder us creatively. Not only is the opener both visually exciting and intellectually stimulating, it tells the story of how technology will never be what makes humans creative, but instead a tool to unleash creativity.
